62 Symbol yacht sold June 2009

62′ Symbol 2001 Pilothouse

Symbol Yachts Co, Ltd is located in the heart of Asian yacht manufacturing, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.  This 62 footer was the first Jack Sarin design for the manufacturer and a fine example it was.  She was featured in Sea Magazine.

Notable features include a 1000lb davit, semi-rigid flybridge top, Wesmar stabilizers, Stidd helm seats, 4000 watt inverter, watermaker and Furuno navigation equipment.  The equipment, hull and layout was ideally designed for extended warm-weather cruising. With this equipment you could literally stay at anchor enjoying tranquility and your private beach for weeks at a time.  Can you do the same on your boat?  Do you need to add/change equipment or do you need to change the boat?  Tell us your story and maybe we’ll discuss your options here.

Davit: the maximum capacity is normally set by the manufacturer or architect.  The type, mechanical or hydraulic, is your choice and usually directed by the ease of shore boat deployment, user skill and agility level, and budget.  We’ll write a post about this soon, but write to us now if you just can’t wait.
