How to Sand Teak on your yacht

Teak is used on boat decks because of it great aesthetic and weather resistance characteristics. In addition Teak on boat decks provide extra traction especially when the surface is wet. many boaters are concern about the maintenance and care of this versatile wood.

Sanding teak on your boat is a lost art, most boat owners often passed along the work to a yacht maintenance professional.

In 12 to 18 months teak trees are already 20 feet tall. When they are about 6 or 7 years old, some of them will be ready to harvest to make room for other native species.
